    Krypton Pro Question

I tried on a pair of Dalbello Krypton Pros today. The fit was perfect, they were relatively comfortable, and I loved the flex (as much as you can love a shop flex). My only problem was a painful pressure point over my instep, mid-foot. Despite playing w/ the bails and the tongue placement, we couldn't make it go away. I asked about altering the boot, and the guy said that due to the 3 piece design of the Flexon, there wasn't much he could do to reduce the pressure point. He basically said he couldn't do anything to the portion of the shell over the foot, and that tweaking the liner wouldn't do much since there's very little padding there anyway, and the source of the pain was the shell itself.

Does anybody with some experience with these boots know if there's any truth to this, or was the guy 1) full of shit or 2) lazy? I really like these boots, and would love it if I could get them to fit right, but I want to know how many options I have.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Scrap the piece-o-crap stock liners and try them with a real liner (Thermoflex, Intuition, ZipFits) then see if the hot spot is still there.

If you cut open the threads on the sides of the tounge over the top of the foot you can reach in and remove a good size chunk of padding that is in there...the guy probably just doesn't know....trust me even removing a little bit of padding will go a long way to relieving pressure

did you still get the pressure point without the footbed?

if so just remove that untill to boot backs out, or grind the bootboard down

the raichles you can just grind, cut ot remove some of theh plastic over that point no problem
