    Truth,
Could you expound on the qualitative correspondence between my Reaktorcorps product purchases and the decrease of tin foil in my poop?

    I'm not reading the 6 pages...sorry.

all I have to say is that when somebody (woodsy) goes on a "defending Utah" crusade talking about how normal it is here I'm going to think of this.

there are a lot of wound up religious asshole cops in utah, their religious fervor helps to justify treating anyone who is not from here and part of their church like shit. This is the truth, no matter what any marketing/church people tell you when you come here you'd best hope to not have to deal with the police unless you are in Rose Park or somewhere like it where they've got more important things to worry about than you...and in that case you've got bigger problems (hanging around in the ghetto) than the cops anyway.

    utah: such a joke sometimes.

So how long have you lived here again? It's funny, i've lived in UT since '93 and have never had problems with 'the man'. My views are vastly different than the average utahn and yet i've never felt oppressed.

It always amazes me that people who spend a season or a vacation here can feel so violated and held back by 'those damn mormons'.

Do you think that just maybe people find exactly what they are looking for and get just what they expect?

i too have not read this whole thread but everytime i drove through utah i couldn't wait to get the f... out of it. unless you're a clean-cut looking person, its a guarantee that you're gonna get the unwelcome vibe that exists outside of skitown utah.

that said, i'm still gonna ski utah one of these days.

Same goes for anyone on this board.
I'll say this: I can do the job of protecting myself better than a cop can do the job of protecting me....the system just needs to let me. If I'm at home with an AK47 I'm in a hell of a lot better shape then when my tweaker neighbors decided to attack me and all I have is a phone and I'm hoping the cops show up before they overwhelm me (yes, this happened). I feel like I have a good background to compare because there was essentially no police presence both where I lived in Big Bay MI and in Valle Escondido NM, you armed yourself, assumed everyone else did too, and there were literally zero problems. Here, only the badguys are armed, and you're just completely dependent on cops to come to the rescue. If you arm yourself you're going to have to be ready to use force, if you use force here you're going to prison. It's just bullshit. It's bullshit, all of it, and I think I'd be better off being given the legitimate freedom to defend my own life and property instead of having to depend on a bunch of high-school dropout wannabe tough guys who get off on jerking people around.

as for the need for these guys, trust me, I know where the tweakers are in my neighborhood, I tell every cop who ever comes around, hardly anything ever gets done, and we end up living with it because we, the law abiding, would be charged with a crime if we went over there and ran them off with force, which we could do if given the chance. I've been spoon feeding the detectives evidence for almost a year, watching the same guy deal meth down the street for almost a year, and instead of using any of it they're breaking down innocent people's doors in Sandy. it's a fucking bad system administered by dumbfucks (these cops who patrol my neighborhood are, with a few exceptions, largely incapable of abstract thought...they're cops because they get off on hassling people)

this all gets me pretty irritated. sorry. I'll shut up now.

I was pulled over 6 times in my first 5 months here, equalling my previous total from age 16 to age 27. I had NM plates, think that had anything to do with it? Nah...couldn't be.

Hahahahhahah, the voice of ignorance. We in Utah are glad you feel that way. I am not of the stereotypical Utah persuasion, but your perception keeps our playgrounds a little less croweded.

6 months of mentioning the meth dealer down the street to every cop I saw got no response. bringing it up with our CAT (community action team) detective got nothing.

wrote a letter to the morman church ward essentially saying, nobody wants a meth dealer, lets get rid of this guy...and in a week we had this.

don't even try to say utah is just like anywhere else because that's just a bald faced lie.

I've lived in michigan, new mexico, colorado, oregon, and travelled all over the lower 48 and this is the first place I've been where to get a dealer arrested you don't call the police, you don't call the DA's office, you call the fucking church.

ignorance...please, these are things that happened to me, right here in my neighborhood, my recollection of what happened and how is not ignorance.

edit: I'm going to actually stop now. I just get so_goddamned_irritated with the church state here it drives me insane. It's such a nice place to live besides that...

There's no attempt to soften anything jibij. It's the way I feel. If that's a crime here so be it.

it's not all bad and it's not all good.

I can't stand when people decide that because it's pretty here and there's nice mountains that that negates the fact that Utah is a church state. If one aspect of life is good, then the rest must be too...that's really narrow thinking IMO

I flew into Chicago this morning and shot Truth, he never saw it coming. And there wasn't a cop in sight.

Who's next, mutha fuckas! I got some good meth on board, and I'm ready to kick some ass.

    Thread recap:

Freshies starts fire, runs away never to be seen again.
Truth not only fans the fire, he ignites the entire neighborhood
Trackhead, on a slow night, pulls up a chair and a fire hose
Iceman and BE enjoy the warmth with one hand and hold fire hose with another
Truth loses ski buddy, karma points and tee shirt sales - doesn't care
    AKPM pads his post count
    Trackhead makes funny

Bottomline for me - I'm still alive after brain surgery, I can't wait to skin and ski with TH, hope I don't have to ride a long slow double lift with truth, BE seems more like a voice of reason, AKPM needs to go back to high school, iceman is funny (wish I could hang out with Rusty) Yeti can't resist the urge to rant on a slow shift and I want the last 30 min of my life back after reading all of this.

The voice of reason. Now that your brain is properly adjusted in your cranium, you've become a man of clarity. Good stuff.

You blew off steam, and made a statement against an oppressive religious insitution in one banal, conceited action. And, you have no regrets about acting like a total cock.

Congrats buddy, you're a real crusader. Your endless, obtuse ramblings here only further solidify your position.

Does your fiancee understand the depth of your mental illness?

Big words from a man behind the curtain. Your wooden shoes don't help cloak you behind that alias, the use of which reveals much about your spine. Remember, even the wizard was exposed for what he was once they found Oz.
