Cut the base material out, you'll need a section a bit bigger than the edge damage. Lightly heat the area with a heat gun and lightly tap the edge back into place. The tricky part is alligning it back straight. Tape is a good way to guide the edge, lay tape on the base where you think the edge should follow and push back to this line. Get a feww edge screws(tiny phillips and predrill holes and then drill in and follow with epoxy. Wait 24 hrs, dremel out epoxy, and clean the now exposed base, base weld and then stonegrind back to flat.
Or if tools are unavailable, tap back into place, epoxy, wait 24 hrs, and file out the flared base material.
