Bustin' out my hockey skates and some bear pelts and rockin' the ice... nice.
Dave TV has the right idea. Nugs, beers, funfetti, UConn v. WVU, and the Olympics. Maybe skiing.
This will probably be my weekend... Who know's though. I don't really like below zero, be it natural or through wind chill.Originally Posted by biggins

Don't worry there is still good skiing coming. I am going to the Big East Tourney down in NYC March 8. With my luck we will get 2 feet that weekend so get ready for it.
Despite mother nature's dirty little tricks for this weekend, snow depth levels aren't too shabby at Stowe right now. They got some snow on Tuesday, but I guess yesterday must have been really warm because all the stuff in town is melted and there were bare spots all over Spruce. It was about 30ish at the top (Mansfield side) late this afternoon and the snow was skiing like we fast forwarded to the 2nd or 3rd week in March. That being said there still is snow in the woods and possibly enough up top if you don't mind meandering your way through the bottom woods. Right now its about 10-15 degrees colder in Burlington than Stowe, so if the storm carries through it might not be as much rain as originally predicted. Either way there are going to be weekend crowds times 2 because of the holiday.
That said, a lot of us are blacked out till Tuesday so it might be a drinking weekend or maybe head up to Jay if they get something other than rain.
Likely the call. Jay's cold should disuade the crowds from skiing hopefully.Originally Posted by skiaholik
Hopefully, a working home phone but I thought that last weekend. I would also say that I saw white on the weather maps for Sunday but Ullr has chosen only to punish me this year since I have to work on Monday.
