I know nothing about these, but figure it will be a good way for me to keep occupied in between customers.
Anybody have one, or know where I can get one for fairly cheap? ($50ish?)

Check out: www.vewdo.com. They make the best ones on the market. We have the Flow model, and love it.
Go big, or go home!!
Before you go shelling out over $100, you might try a 2 liter soda bottle filled with water and a skateboard deck on top. Its a little trickier because it doesn't have a ridge in the middle the way a vew-do does, but it can still be mastered.
for sure, do what ory said. Make it a little harder though, use a section of PVC pipe about the size of a 2 litre instead. Its really addictive. We have one at the shop and one at my house. I remember when we first got the thing, just trying to figure out balance. Now we're doing pop-shuvits and 180s and stuff. super fun, more so wihtout the groove down the middle.
