It looks like its spinning all the moisture from south to north....we could get a lot of snow out of this if this thing stalls and keeps spinning (like most of last year's storms)

Between pass blackouts, a cabin so full that people will be sleeping in the laundry room, and 3-day weekend traffic and lift lines, I'll let the weekend crew take the next two days. Get some!

Besides, if the snow level stays low, I may be booting up Mt. Diablo tomorrow morning

Its not going to. It is going to straighten out, warm up and we are going to be sliding on a giant ice rink.

    Dumping in TD.

We skied Alpine until about 12:30, when the snow was getting heavier and it was clear that the kids were pooped.

    Sunday should be schweet.

What makes you say Sunday instead of Saturday?

NWS: SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE TONIGHT AND SATURDAY...WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW EXPECTED TO OCCUR TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. <Antijinx>

Anyone have thoughts on backcountry stability? Considering Waterhouse for moderate to considerable forecast, and Elephants Back for Moderate. Although winds are not forecast to be high with this system, I will probably stay sheltered for Saturday.

    Pass blackouts suck.

It's a long shot, but anyone got floor space in the SLT area for Sat Night? The floor space I thought I might have is already full.
