vinman i am 3 weeks post rotator cuff repair (huge full tear) shredded biceps tendon repair, and bankhardt procedure
doc has me in sling with no lifting ,only dangling pendulum exercises right now
3 more weeks before i start pt
i understand the importance of the 6 week immobilization to let all the muscles and tendons heal and grow
i am using glucosamine/crondoitin/msm and lots of h2o
as well as still icing it regularly
i have read the threads regarding similar recoveries and there is alot of good information out there
can you offer up your input on this subject?
as i look out at the new snow n bluebird conditions, i long to heal properly to be ready for next season
any info is greatly appreciated!!!

Sounds like you are doing the right stuff so far. That first 6 weeks is very important to allow the tissues to heal back together, so don't push it until your doc says it is ok. Especially since the extent of your injury sounds pretty bad, rotator cuff, biceps tendon, capsular shift.
Good luck and stick with your rehab. From the sounds of it you have the right attitude so you should be fine.
