I'm outta here! No snow to be had in CO and a very fortuitous business trip to the Seattle area means getting some strange in the near future. Will be skiing Jan 9 and 10 prolly at Alpental unless any nearby mag has a better idea.
It's been years since I've been anywhere but CO and UT and I'm looking forward to it!

Got the transciever/shovel/pack but wasn't planning on brining them since the "real" reason for the trip is business and I don't have alot of extra space with bag/weight limits on the airlines these days. Still tryin to figure out how to pack my suits and ties in the same bag with my boots and helmet

Carry on the boots. You're allowed 2 carry on items.

Ahhhh, Buster you are so wise in these matters! Damn good idea except I already have to take a laptop and an video projector as my two. Oh, well worst case - pay the $50 for the extra bag. Now the bigger decesion - which skis to bring? Real fat or just mostly fat.

at least bring the transciever, i just don't like to be irresponsible in the b/c. i can pull a shovel for ya. and bring the real fat skis. i like to ski powder.

I'll probably be up at either Alp. or Crystal on 1/10 and 1/11. Drop a line if plans go toward either. Definitely bring as much of the bc gear you can- all the best stuff is OB. I guess you could always FedEx some gear up to your hotel and charge it to the company?

There's another microbrew in Redmond, the Northwest Brewhouse or something (make a beer called Bear Creek IIRC).
I was planning to do some randonnee on the 10th but would join on a BC tour at either of the resorts you guys mentionned. If we could decide in a couple days, that'd help me score a comp ticket but I need a week's notice.
