3 days in Northern Utah (photo TR)

GT is the shooter on all of these. These are from last couple of days in Jan.

Meats of evil throwing a safety, GT testing out the fisheye:

    MOE going deep:

MD9 jumping from light patch to light patch.

MD9 playing in the pow (taking heavy direction from GT for specific types of shots, it took me a number of tries)

GT hauling out of a chute:

    More working with the fisheye:

    MD9 submerging:

    MD9 emerging:

    This didn't suck:

    More pow:

These next shots are B-roll, but since it's been so snowy and viz has sucked not much of the terrain we like to hit has been available so meats and I decided to get stupid off cat tracks since the snow was so soft:

MOE and his lincoln (which I'm sure left logs):

    MOE with a 3 safety:

MD9 and an underflip with the fisheye:

    Another underflip:

    jumping into trenchland:

That's it. Enjoy. Today was pretty good and filled with a ton of pow and exploring. We found a cave and a bunch of new cliffs and ramps. We even found a ridge with cornices off both sides. Hopefully we'll get some pics of this new terrain in the next batch of photos.

    Thumbs up

Solid work as always. Too bad the sensor crop on the camera pretty much crops out all of the fisheye effect. Still, nice crisp shots with it.

GT, if you really want some sluts for pow shots (i.e. ones that get it right the first time) you know who to call

Family team work at its best.

It's really cool seeing MOE throwing down so well. He's got a good big bro to take tips from.

This is my favorite, because it's the form I imagine in my head when I think "OK, look cool in this turn"

    Sick shots.

    Hey M,

Just come up and play in our neighborhood and we'll make you famous.

Sorry but there is no "pain train" where we hang out.

The fish eye is a 15mm F2.8. It's fine for closeup shots. The lens I use the most so far, is the 24-70mm F2.8 L. The camera is a Canon 20D.

I wanted to Thank, Grant, Eric, Bob & Scott for helping me figure out what camera gear to buy. Astro for clues on how to use it. And most of all to my dear wife, who puts up with my addictions. She's very tolerant and supportive of her crazy husband and boys.

I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.
