    TR: Jackson mini-video

Guys, have just been messing with a helmet cam got for this season and made up a little movie with my room-mate. Most of it filmed in Granite Canyon, thought some of you might like it. It's my first attempt at working with imovie, so go easy. Just cut and paste the link below:

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...=jackson+movie

    Cheers,

    Mikey

Great stuff. Damn, I miss Jackson.

Why is the default on Google video "fit to window" instead of "original size" and why am I just now realizing this is why videos hosted there always look like shiat? I thought it was just because Google turns the videos into flv's.

    I especially like the title.

.... and the ridiculous amount of snow

.... and the random weird face shot.

Way to get at it Mikey. Ahhhhhhh Jackson. Those pillow lines looked pretty schweeet. From experience I'm guessing the head cam doesn't do them or some of the other steeper lines/drops justice but the stuff through the trees was awesome. Is the switch riding on the union pass traverse? And were you in green river or four pines at all or is that striclty granite canyon footy?

most of it was shot in Granite. However the tree dodging and pillows were actually from the last pitch in Rock Springs bowl. 180 was on union pass.

Glad you liked it! Am inspired to try and get lots more footage when the sun (eventually) joins the party.

Oooooh we hit up Rock Springs when I was in JH last Feb! Loved it. Too bad there were some idiot fartbag wearers frolicking down the bowl ahead of us with no avy gear. That kind of ruined the mood.

    Excited to see more.

Tons of sun today (too much). Funny how just a bit of sun can funk up the snow on the south faces.

Thanks for your interest in Google Video.

Currently, the playback feature of Google Video isn't available in your country.

We hope to make this feature available more widely in the future, and we really appreciate your patience.

    That was fun thanks mang.

I like the last part, where he hits the tree.
Because that is exactly what I would've done.

I like it. I kept wanting to duck during the tree shots. Nice finish, too.

Thought those skis looked familiar. What up Parker?

Mikey, say hi to Parker - this is Emily's buddy Brett that was out there skiing with him and Scott in early January.
