    Vail 01.29.06

WoW, we called the snow report at 7 am and Vail was reporting 9". I can term it as nothing less than sandbagging. pic's speak for themselves. Photo credits to my cousin, Z. I haven't downsized the all the pic's. I'm in the Red and Black with Gold goggles. Juice is in the brown jacket.

    me

    juice is loose

    more juice

no fucking clue why the last four are downsized. guess I've got some avatar submissions. [rolleyes]

So, is juice a red headed guy from detroit who has metal hooks imbedded in his gums from having his jaw wired shut and has a particular distaste for police officers? Because the last I heard about juice was that he was headed to vail.

he doesn't have an affinity for cops, but who does?

he's a vail local I went to school with.

those pic's were taken at about 1:30 pm. nice to have a couple of aces up your sleeve at Vail on a day like that.

raspy's was as deep as I've ever skied. I'd say seen, but I couldn't see a damn thing up there.

I don't think Vail had a whole lot more than 9 on the front side (they reported 11 at 2pm I think) There was more int eh trees where it collected, but on the backside, it was obviously more than double that. I measured 28" in a couple of places...

Nice pics. I'd have to agree on the snow report. It was easily 14"+ on the backside. At least knee deep in a couple of places. Did any of you have to drive back to Denver after? Holy Shit! Over 3.5 hours just to get through the Eisenhower. Everytime I started to get really pissed about the fact I was going to miss my plane, I'd console myself with the fact that the hassle was worth it. Outstanding day!
