Ladies! What do you think about this weather/snow? I'm willing to go under pretty bad conditions, cause I've done it before. But I don't know your comfort zones. Talk to me...

ps It's still snowing but not too hard and spotty.

I say we still meet up and then we can make a decision in the morning about the weather and snow conditions. It's my understanding that it's supposed to clear out tonight and be better in the morning. How much has it snowed? That might be a factor we will want to consider in the morning as well. We can always modify our plans in the morning accordingly.

I think it'll be less than 6" new snow. But hard and slick underneath. Not bonded at all. Just guessing obviously. There might be sluff to manage. But an east face can warm and settle so quickly. I'm not that worried about it.

Six inches, really? Wow. Yeah, I figured it would not be bonding well. We can look and check out the snowpack in the morning and make our decisions then. If we have to wait for it to warm a bit, that might be best. We'll see! I'll see you in the AM!

as of 2:30ish there was maybe an inch of new snow. wind blowing pretty solidly out of the NE. Up high there was a crust but below 11,000 or so, it was still quite slushy.

Cool….Look for a white Chevy mini van (yeah I know, but the gas is free, which seems to be pretty huge these dayz!) around 6 and we’ll start setting up the tavern……I am weak, and ended up getting a 1.75 of Captain as well……..Can’t wait to pardy with all ya’ all……Look for a dude with a purple and hot pink one piece and a purple Mohawk to appear at some point…….the plot thickens.
