    Thanks for the vid.

He's a seriously luck guy. I'm sure if I jumped 250 feet and landed on my head, I'd live for another 70 years, but paralized from the neck down.

Thanks. Great interview. I still agree with the earlier post, however, that you should have said, this is Steven Barron and I do have change for a nickel.

Thanks for the vid Steve. "Skyscrapers in downtown SLC" - Now that was funny.

What's up with the Ranger/Cowboy at the end of the vid?
Because rich has nothing to do with money.

Hey, we've got one or two buildings that are skyscrapers. And they have indoor plumbing too...

Ranger/Cowboy was on the tape before, and I didn't feel like editing him out and re-rendering the project...

SuPu, not sure about sound issues, anyone else having them? Other than hearing the director say "take" in the background, I dubbed the wrong audio for a part of that...

Okay, this is a different side of Pierre than what has been shown in the ski movies. I don't form opinions about someone from what I see on TV, but this seemed like a completely different JP. Where's the balls? Where's the mixing of Jack and Coke in the mouth?

I just find it odd that someone who is apprently a strong born-again (just what I've gathered from these threads and the interview) would be willing to put out such a "bad role model" image everywhere else.

Basically, I'm just trying to say "I'm confused" -- not judgemental -- just confused and intrigued.

Well, it's hard to cuss on TV. He also seemed utterly stoked and surprised that he pulled it off without injury. "...Powder 8's and being a Dad..." would be a good idea IMHO. I'm sure his wife and child agree.

I didn't have to edit out any cursing, or anything else along those lines. In the few years I've known Jamie, I've found him to be a genuinely good guy, happy to be getting paid to ski, and someone who enjoys life. He's definitely a bit more mellow now, than a few years ago, you are correct in saying that.

I also asked him about the "hitting it switch and riding it out to the road" comment, and he laughed, and said, "well, the house is under 50', so maybe I'll go back and do that one now..."

Sweet interview and thanks for posting.

Is it me or does Red Baron have the 40 year old virgin look down?

Nice. One complaint: stupid fox logo is covering the stylish Mrs. Roo. She coulda been famous!

Sick and ashamed and happy (and not that she isn't already...),

Nice interview and I was waiting for Jamie to make a comment about the size of Jesus' sack. He'd huck it right.

So you've based your opinion of JP after watching a brief clip of him talking smack while being hammered off of Jack? You're a moron.

Thanks for the vid, RB. Tried to tivo last night but it would've knocked out Horatio and the gang, so ...
I am contemplating the Walker Center flagpole from my office and thinking, no way. no fucking way.
BTW, Big City Soup would be a very flat landing.

Hey I could be very happy landing in a vat of their Thai Chicken Noodle...

Hop et al; are you just hearing the backroom chatter, or can you hear the other track too? The way it's set up, the tech chatter is on the left channel, and the real audio is on the right, check you balance & settings...

    Is that skiers' or lookers'?
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.
