I love it when some brainless turd puts up a trick to scam on the Internet that EVERYONE can use so that the trick gets so popular that the mountain finds out about it so now NOONE can use it.

Reminds me of the old trick of skinning up the Singing Pass trail to save on the ticket. It worked fine until some braintrust decided to post up that trick on the Internet.

Ahhh... back in the day when ski bums were a dime a dozen, the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sun Valley used to see lots of traffic.....

Lee or anyone else for that matter- Any chance you have finestone's contact info? Anyone who has it, I would be extremely grateful for a pm with it. I really would like to sit down and talk with him and try to work something out.

Hey, don't go all postal on me, you mini linebacker you ..... I didn't axe that....

here's a start: http://www.nwac.us/ click on all the links for telemetry at a multitude of measuring stations, and "mountain Weather" for one of the best near and intermediate term forecasts. Plus, Lowell Skoog's site has a plethora of links....to sat photos, long range forecasts, etc etc

I skiied Stevens Pass today, it was almost as deep as W/B Monday, just a tad heavier...but the K2 Chiefs conquer all. Skiied untracked ALL day!!! Face shot city!!
