    I (heart) Alta

    Bauldy Shoulder 1/28/06 (Sat. ~ 11am)

the straight line to crater in the middle was me. I couldnt see any untouched snow except that line. In retrospect I should have gone just one more line to the left.

Hopped some small rocks, didn't want to cross anyones tracks and figured, hell, point it. Right tip dive, didn't ejaculate, did a summersault , and skied on. Fucked the whole scene though. I went back and got revenge, but by then most the virgin spots were taken.

Sure some of your lines are in there. I spent all morning here and in bad news. Red cloudveil and SV's.

I wanted a clean pic of 'bad news', but this poor soul spent 3 of my runs looking for a ski:

To his credit the air out right there was a quick switch from harder chunky snow to pure blower, but you couldn't see the difference very well. The soft stuff had sluffed down the hill. It almost hosed me when took the same line.

Thanks. I didn't stop to take anymore in the AM, then the clouds moved in. Between 9:30 and 11:00am on Sat.

Heh Bob - you were 20-50 minutes early. And you know the lift doesn't open til 9:15 right? We ski fast at Alta, but not fast enough to reverse time.

Anyways, nice work Laramie. Shoulder openings are fun.

    thx stump

on a bird note (it wasn't my choice to be there today): On our way to poach some goods we watched GadII spool up and pull a few chairs. They also cleaned out the snow from the lower bullwheel area. I'm betting they run it tommorow. Road to provo / knucklehead were closed all day. Sad to see it start back up, it was like a little piece of alta.

summersaults are disconcerting enough with out having an orgasm in the middle.
    you're lucky.

you should have heard the grunt I made. I was disoriented and covered in white. Sorta similar...

Mounting the Seth's at +3 was a mistake for high speed runs in low density pow.

All that tail kicks serious ass for landings though.
