Anyone been in Mill B North in the past few weeks up BCC???
Started from the road and skinned up left of Reynolds towards a view of Mt. Raymond. The new snow was great except for the south face skinning had a burley zipper crust underneath. The Raymond looked sic but democracy overruled our party as we turned back for sustained tree shots that weren't damaged by the new wind.
Let me know if anyone was up near the Raymond or surrounding area and post about snow pack, avi activity, etc. GRACIAS!
haven't been up there in a while but i yesterday (28th) i saw some heafty winds from the SW and E that was doing a number on the E face of lone peak and NE shots on slc twin. the slabs may have settled out but i'd be leary of the loaded aspects that were shaded and didn't get hit by the winds before the storm (ie. skiers right walls on the chutes coming off the E face). just some thoughts.
