Calling All New England Surf Mags!

If you are interested (I hope this is cool to post this here?):

The Northern New England Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation is holding our annual fundraising event. The theme of the event will be Raising Evironmental Awareness, and we will have various coastal environmental facts at the event.

For those of you not aware, Surfrider is a non-profit environmental organization focusing on the health of our oceans and beaches. All 60 of its US Chapters are run by volunteers.

Location: Portland Flatbread Company, 72 Commercial St., Portland, ME

Flatbread pizza donates $3.50 of every pizza they sell to our organization. We will have NNE Chapter surfrider schwag for sale, informational posters, membership information, and some great raffle items. The evening will include a performance by Kings Highway, a local surf band from NH.

If you are free, bring the family, bring a friend, come find out what we are all about. I would love to meet some more New England mags that like to surf.
