Question Cuff Alignment on Nordica Hot Rod / Dobie

Question for the collective. Anyone ever adjust the cuff alignment on a boot that does not have the "cant" adjustment style screw on the outside of the cuff?

I have a new pair of Nordica Hot Rods that are more bowed out then I need. Would a good bootfitter be able to relocate the outside cuff screw to achieve this or is there another method? In comparison to the Nordica's, my old L10's had a more vertical cuff to boot sole alignment which matched my leg contour better. I am already running surefoot orthotics.

    thanks,

    Woolph

The Hot Rod/Dobermann Pro shells have an asymetrical upper cuff and were never designed to be aligned in any position other than what comes out of the factory. The only way to adjust them is to get a real bootfitter to plane the sole to the angle you need (as far as I know). I had this done to my old WC 150s but have kept the Hot Rods at standard cant because planeing boots is pricy!
