    Thumbs up

    Champagne dreams, caviar wishes
And watch them grow from rags to riches
Money to burn, money to give away

Lifestyles of the rich and famous
And look and them who can blame us
Lessons in the subject of decay

Come tomorrow, the dream might blow away
Guilt and sorrow, the price you have to pay

    Snobbery and decay
    Snobbery and decay

You’ve got yours, I’ve got mine
    Obsession, just like Calvin Klein

    Fantasy, ecstasy, designer dream, obscenity

    Snobbery and decay
    Snobbery and decay

Nothing to do, nothing to pay
    Nothing but snobbery and decay

    Land of the free
    How can you tell?
The bigger they come the harder they sell

    Here’s to you
    Here’s to me
    A future aristocracy

    Property, poverty,
    An unstable economy

    And decay
    And decay

    Snobbery and decay
    Snobbery and decay

Come tomorrow, the dream might blow away
Guilt and sorrow, the price you have to pay

    Snobbery and decay
    Snobbery and decay

    Champagne and caviar
    Snobbery and decay

Kill it over there shirk, as I know you will.

Great to hang with you for a couple days in UT, let us know when you get tired of all that vertical at whistler and want a piece of Kirkwood again.

Have fun man, I know you will. Eat lots of smelly sausages and cheese in Cham, it the best thing going. When in Italy, Vino d'casa, Rosa, sempre. If Fricco is on the menu, get one. Try to talk Gordy into Alagna / Mt Rosa. Man I could not be any more envious of you guys right now. Have fun.

i told gordy he had to let you ski/walk on rocks and exposed cliff bands, and if it looks like you are in trouble, then you probably know exactly what you are doing.

he sounded psyched to have you coming on the trip.

have fun, 666. look forward to the TR of all TRs.

    Lightbulb

666- you have to bag this line at the top of the Grand Montets that I didn't want to ski into- it just looked too nasty.

Your path would take you through a two-meter wide shot at the top at 40 miles an hour. You will then veer to your left and catch air at close to 50, STOPPING before the (non-existent) crevasse that stretched the entire width of the bottom of the chute.

...and after your jump, when the crowds begin to leave, Shirk will be at the starting gate.

... and here's another hand-picked line for you. I think this is the equivalent of West Shore Kirkweed, over on the backside of Les Contamines.

I'll never forget the time I saw him and Smally climb into that chute at Mammoth. I was like, "What fucking crazy nutso is climbing up that crack in ski boots?!" Then it dawned on me...

Two hours to kill till bus from Geneva to Cham. I love travelling with laptop and wireless access

Many many pics will be taken. I already have some music picked out for the TR.
But the question begs, who will do the better TR? Bad_Roo or 666? Both have done some amazing work in the past.

You will love it Shirk, if for nothing else, just the beaty of the mountains. But of course there is a lot else too. Seems like chamo will get a bit of a dusting the next couple of days, whereas the other side of the mountains (cormayeur) will get 15-20 cm the next 3 days. Basically that means; go south-east; either cormayeur or LaPalud.

    Enjoy!

Riding up the Midi is unlike any other experience you will ever have in life. The anticipation, fear, and giddiness are a combination that I would like to live on at all times (too bad it can't be that way)
