    Moonlight Basin... help?

    Never been there......

I got my two lift ticket vouchers in the mail today. (Have to use them this season).

Anyone got any tips on where to stay - and where is priced reasonably? Looking for your average hotel setting, etc. Would just be the wife and I - she probably wont be skiing - just me. Probably stay over a weekend.

Also - is Bozeman the nearest airport?

    Thanks!

(still trying to decide if to fly or to drive...)

Well, sheeeyucks. I never woulda thoughta that. hyuk hyuk!

I already did that, but I was hoping to get some info on room rates and where is cheap, etc. Maybe where is a good place to start inquiring. Since I have lift tickets, I don't need a ski & stay package.

there are some chain hotels down on the highway, Bucks T4 is probably among the most expensive, but it is a best western. I think there is also a super 8 or comfort inn maybe? It will put you about 8-10 miles from the parking lot.

Otherwise you can sleep in bozeman, but that adds an hour drive to each end of your ski day. Not sure what your wife plans on doing, but if you stay in bozeman it might open her options for stuff to do somewhat.

    Bozeman is the closest airport.

And if you stay at Bucks T4 (or even if you don't), I HIGHLY recommend their venison with the red wine sauce. Best meat I ever had.
