    Going to the Ghee

A buddy & myself are heading to Targhee this weekend. I'm hoping the next system socks it to the Tetons! I've never skied there & any advice on the ins & outs of the Ghee would be greatly appreciated!

If there is fresh snow, PM me, I'll give you a rockin' sockin' tour. Hopefully Mary's and the backside will be open, if you are into huge hucks and/or DEEP powder turns. (with a bit of a hike) There are better ways than others to ski the hill, FWIW.

So, Pup, how are you to be identified at Larry-Land?

Bring your touring gear and sample both the pass, targhee bc and various other goods zones. Get the Ski Atlas.

I was there last weekend when they got something like 22 inches in 18 hours. Here are some scenes:

Prolly still drunk or hungover. The smell of beer should give me away. Possibly baked too? Green and light grey parka with dark grey pants, no helmet. Skiing on bright orange 8800's (would like to get some longer Pro's or Bro's soon though). Usually I ski Sac when visibility is bad on DC and hike Mary's once or twice a day when its open (which was insane last Sat. just before they closed it).

    And you?

umm...one word: swallowtail. Usually, but not always. I am generally a blur out of your sidesight. I frequent Sacajaweja A LOT.
I enter from the PL rocks often. Just ask around, you will figure out who I am. I am a phantom under the rope.

(PS, Skiing is for little fat kids)

There is. There is also a 1000 footer, if you get lost.
There is also a good funeral home.
    Targhee is flat.

You plank or board? Cause I see lotsa planks and boards with swallow tails out there on Sac. Maybe I should just ask for change for a nickle the next time I see a swallow of any kind?

let the last clue guide you.
On what tool I choose to schralp is not important. That we all do as fast as we can manage is the important thing.
Blue and grey can make a day.
    Blurred ones are fun.

Gotcha. What kind and color swallow do you ride? Will keep an eye out this weekend or maybe Friday depending on weather.
