Question Who still needs a roof for the Utah MINI; Who still has room to offer??

Please post what you NEED and what you can OFFER!!!

Talk amongst yourselves, PM each other, email each other.

Need more info, PM me or email me.

Let get some maggots taken care of ASAP!!!

This thing is coming sooner than you think and I do want to make sure we can get us all taken care of.

The plan for everyone to meet will be on Friday, Feb 6 at Goldminers Daughter at Alta after we all ski/board the LCC (Snowbird and Alta). I personally will be at Bird that day, cheering on the maggots in the freestyle comp and getting my monkey drag on with Frizzo and hopefully Boarderline (any other monkeys want to join us?).

After skiing, we invade GMD, have some brews and meet up with old and new faces alike.

More will be posted as it comes closer:

Radio Channel and Frequency for the MINI: ??
Places to meet at each mountain: ??
What I find on discount tix: ??
Best place to score a whistle: Dollar Store??
Other stuff I am not thinking of right now as I stare at the white out outside my office door: ??

And if you plan to eat at the mountains, bring a decent amount of money, food ain't cheap anymore. I would recommend hitting Subway or something and bring stuff up if at all possible. Will save you lots of money.

Post up for lodging, Utards please help!!!

I have an offer for lodging but it leaves me without transport. So, I either need to find lodging where transportation is also a possibility or I will be renting a car. If any mags are renting lodging and or vehichles and need another body with a wallet to pitch in let me know.

Still trying to figure out if this is going to work for me, where is a central location to stay? I'd rather rent a room, just cause I'm really unsure if I am in fact going or not, so I wouldn't want to commit to something I couldn't hold up later.
Sandy was discussed in another thread, yay or nay?

By speaking for all of us Utards without me asking them ( ), we all plan to shuttle as many people and gear as we can.

That being said, I still would recommend some of you to pool resources and rent a vehicle if you can. As much as we would love to be able to get you all everywhere, we do want to ski/ride too (sorry for being selfish ).

Truth points out a very good point and I figure we will see more in this thread. Exactly why I put it out there.

Utards, post up too (after you get done snorkeling of course ).

    Go

Will most definetley be needing a place to crash. If no couch space left whos up for splitting a cheap room somwheres?

Also, I will have my car with a ski box on top and therefore can help with any shuttling thats needed.

REI. Plastic storm whistles are like $2 and they have aluminum keychain ones for $3-4 depending on size.

Sandy is south SLC and really close to LCC. A bit longer drive to Basin in Ogden, but those are only 2 days there. If you have your own vehicle, sounds like a plan.

Even living close, I am not sure where I would stay if I got a hotel. Either south SLC (Sandy) for LCC or North SLC/Downtown for LCC and hour drive to Snowbasin.

It is a crap shoot. Mad Pow either way!!!

buzz pretty much has it covered...i'm still waiting on the word on discount tix for alta through connie...ya'll may just have to get the discount at REI or the Sports Den, etc..
my advice: if you can get a bunch o' maggots together and rent a car, do it. we will try as hard as we can to get everyone up to gt's and back down here, but we will also need you out of towners to help.
more to come in a bit...

You can go wherever you want, but this is what most decided on. Basin is going to go off on the weekend.

Great, the truck will come in handy bigtime for gear.

Now should I bring my truck for gear too, or the Jeep Liberty (with new Xmas Yakima rack) for people hauling??
