Yes on the deadbolt, no on the Supermodel. The supermodels are Stiff (with a capitol S). As far as hardware goes, they are releasing 4FRNT branded poles.....
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Funny how things change. I'm starting to think of anything less than 95 under foot as a "skinny ski".
Sugar Daddy goes from 153-193 in length. The Pimp is a separate ski, different graphics, 183 and 193 in length, 99 underfoot.

Personally, I think 190 in the Gotama and 193 in the Sanouk is perfect for me skiing the resort (which is 90% of the time anyway), I say bigger sizes for cat and heli-skiing, but I'm happy with the 190 range. I do remember flexing the Sumos at the store with Squirrel and it seemed that Sumo's tip and tail have sort of a Sanouk shape...as in a very large tip shape. Therefore, I'm guessing that the 190 Sumo probably skis like a 180, does that logic sound right? In any case, there are also rumors floating around that Kingswood will be producing larger skis as well (including a Sumoish shape), not sure when though.

Yep. Saw a 193 pimp development model a while back and am currently waiting for my own ones to supplement the new BD's I might need some Pimps too though as they are just so freakin ugly.

noticably lighter then the current promodel? So, these new falcons+ my thermoflexes (thanks again marshal) would make for a featherlight low volume combo? ........I can't wait.

Any word on construction changes? Is Salomon still using foam? Is the Seth Vicious still the same ski with different graphics as the 05/06 model?

If you were to pick a lightweight 100mm ski for BC use, which one would it be? (I desperately need to replace my blue noodles after this season)

I thought that I read somewhere that Dynastar was adding a 176 length to the Legend Pro. I guess that expands the skis for use by the ladies and gapers alike?

Here's some SIA info I found: The magazines offered at the show:

    http://www.skipressworld.com/SIA/2006/Day1/
    http://www.skipressworld.com/SIA/2006/Day2/
    http://www.skipressworld.com/SIA/2006/Day3/
    http://www.skipressworld.com/SIA/2006/Day4/

There's the "atomic" and "Dynastar" AT bindings in the Day3 flyer. By that I mean Silvertta and Naxo. Most of these seem to be aimed at shop owners.

Just got back from SIA and just seeing so many freaking huge skis I thought I was going have a seizure the first day from the excessive drooling

My favs were the 4FRNT EHP 193, Big Daddy, Thug, Legend Pro XXL (Plus) and the (not at the show) entire Movement line (all impressively stiff), but especially the Goliath (194cm, 108 waist). And of course the Squads but I'd already seen those. Good to see so many nice-lookin skis this year...

I'm more and more interested in the 193 EHP. It's a good looking ski!

Anyone have any idea of the pricepoint?? Hopefully not as bad as this year's Supermodels...
