ski size help

yeah im a jong and i was wondering what ski size is should get in the karhu jak bc im 5'6.5 and 133 pounds. eventualy when i learn i plan on useing them exclusivly for the backcountry earning my turns, the sizes are between the 172 and the 165. the smaller i feel would be easyier to learn on and to handle in tight trees. but in utah the snow is deep and i would like to stay on top. so any help would be appreciated. they are going to be used for tele.

For "exclusively backcountry" you should be looking at the 179 or 186. At your weight I'd take the 179.
