    I don't think you'll catch your buddies

I don't have a season pass so I don't have to worry about that.

you know the line I'm talking about though right? Did you get those poachers who did it (theres at least 3 lines down it as of last night)?

its super core and I can see why its out of bounds, because lower mountain gapers would hurt them selves bad, but its totally do able on a powder day just it has super high concequenses if you fuck up.

Dude chill Aly patroll is pretty cool, I had one incinent where I got my corner cliped for not turning in the slow area, but other than that the trollers have been nothing but helpful. But like they aren't pushy in line and most of the time let you go first like if your in the singles line and stuff.

McDanieles However doesn't get where skiing is going. There is no terraine park other than a few dinky rails, the pipe is out of the way and not lighted and is very small, there are no tables or other jumps that are groomed. And Alyeska is not open to Mountain Biking yet (wich would be incredible). I mean make Aly world class have a kick ass park so people will want to come just Alaska doesn't sell the place. Put lifts on the backside of the mountain expand the bc opportunities, and put a T Bar on Glacier Bowl and have a public park like whistler I'm sure borderline would love to have their camp all summer.

My only problem with the patrol is the lack of letting us make good jumps and shape the landing and stuff, I mean wouldn't that make it a hell of a lot safer?

Oh and why night have "Night" skiing in april when no one wants to leave at 5:30 and the sun goes down at 10? I mean let us enjoy Alaskas light , that would be a great Idea for the resort to offer skiing under the literal "Midnight Sun"

I was trying to be a smart ass here but I have been working too much to be able to post here much and obviously didn't pull it off.

When you buy a pass at a ski area you are not free to do whatever you please. There are rules to keep EVERYBODY as safe as possible. From the beginner who is putting ski's on for the first time to whoever is on the mountain. That line is closed for a reason. If you don't like it that is your problem. By putting sucker tracks on the beginner area of the mountain is bad karma. How would you feel if some 10 year old followed your tracks down that place and got himself killed. There are a ton of other places where you can launch your badass off some damn cliff. If you can ski, you have probably seen at least a couple a couple of cliffs at Alyeska that are open to whatever.

Last year Alyeska lost money because of such a poor snow year. Having mountain biking would probably cost too much to make it feasible. If they thought it could make money than they would probably do it. I would assume that liability insurance would be damned expensive for the amount of people that would like to do it. As far as I know it is open to mountain biking the kicker is that your lazy ass has to ride to the top first.

Help me I am posting in a powder_monkey thread......

Pogue, NF conditions? I missed opening day because I was skiing keystone and it's wonderful 19 inch base. Any bombhole activity off the upper portion of Eagle Rock? I would like to do some hucking this weekend, but I am deciding between Aly and a road trip back to T Town for skinning leg burning fun.
