I think I'd pay money to see more of Bobmc's old ski photos. Freaking awesome.

Me, I was working as a Ski Instructor at Powder Mountain on weekends (basically a daycare). That was my first season pass. I lost it mid way through the season and quit. Got tired of watching everyone ski pow while I snowplowed groomers. I hate to admit it, but I think all those damn clinics did help my skiing. I also graduated highcschool that year. I'm sure GT has some photos from back then. I hucked a 15 footer on the back side of sundown that year. I was so proud of the photo I took it to school to show my friends. Everybody thought I was rad. When I went to Basic training I took the photo as well. Everybody thought I was rad. That was the raddest 15 footer ever.

EDIT, oh and I wore a purple jacket and black pants. The jacket was edelweiss and the pants were columbia. All of my gear came from Garts.

I'm second from the left in this shot. I just wanted to point out there was a guy in the group I was with who wore jeans skiing every day. Cool then, cool now

10 years ago I was ski bum, but 20 years ago you would have found me on the mountain sporting the jeans and gators with semi big hair.

Ahh the MSLs, those were rad skis.....
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Hey, I had CVC's! Also a pair of Kastle 5.0's and a pair of Elan Comprex X Super-G skis.

'96 I finally had enough money to go back and visit my friends in CO. I'd left there in '94, and was living on ~$1500/month in DC. Ramen was my friend, and my fiancee (now my wife) had just quit her job to start her own business.
