    Back in the Day... 1996

Going through some old photos, I found this gem from Jan '96 in Whistler:

So steezy! Rossi boots, K2's, and matching from head to toe.

What were you doing 10 yrs ago?

Same year, same place, not nearly as much steeze.

Don't ask what I'm holding in the hand you can't see.
I should probably change my username to IReallyDon'tTeleMuchAnymoreDave.

Holy shit! Brooklyn, now that is a photo...Gotta watch what I say on this one.

Want to see a picture of me then, look above at my avitar...10 years ago I wasn't even on the snow...stuck in college at Ohio State, nothing to do but watch sports or shot pool/throw darts in a bar and drink pitchers like they were 12ozers...talk about a place with nothing to do in the winter.

    peace,

    Nice goggles, too!

I was looking at some photos from my first ski trip in '96 and was disappointed there wasn't much neon. I'm glad to see bklyntrayc was still keepin' it real! I bet all the Japanese tourists were envious

It's the goggles. That's where your steeze comes from.

Shit, 10 years ago, I was a gen-you-wine ski bum with a seasons pass at JH.
I think that was the year I got a pair of Volkl Explosives and I ddin't like to ski them all the time cuz they were just so outrageously fat

My dog ate those cebe goggles. She started to associate them with my long absences.

Second year of highschool for me. I think 1996 was the year I first got to ski something other than the 90' local bump we had in London, Ontario: Sainte-Anne in Quebec. Never looked back.

No way. I left London as soon as I could, nothing there for me. I'm in Ottawa now, but heading out west as soon as I can get some things settled here.

Someone told me that Bolar "mountain" (aka Bolar Bump) has converted the tubing hills into a park.

I feel so very, very, very young. Bullet was racing several years before I was born.
