    Vermont Dumpage

I can't imagine if all this precipitation we have had lately was snow instaed of rain we would all be buried alive!

Definitely, The bEast would be epic this year if it was cold enough. We have had tons of precipitation. Half of its been rain, which nearly kills anything natural we've gotten.

I said the same thing about the Wasatch around Christmas. Two feet of wet slop would have been epic at the usual 8 - 10%. As a former Vermont ski slave my best wishes for a turnaround for those on the right coast.

Looks like this last front may have come in the form of solid rather than liquid for Northern VT. Anyone able to confirm this?

exactly, it seems like every winter we have there is a ton of warm weather and a lot of precipitation in the early months. got to get used to it by now. cant expect a lot of pow days every winter here on the east coast.

    rain, rain go away

this is goddamn January. Shouldn't it be like 60 degrees colder? WTF?

Early season had some pretty good days, but the last couple weeks the gods have been spiteful.

Last year was very lean until mid february. The freeze/thaw wasn't so out of control though for this amount of time. At least the groomers were good for most of january.
