saw the first off the press issue yesterday. Solid performance once again. Mike is delivering them to locations around SLC today...so it will be next week when he gets up north

i hear ya from this end. We submitted some seriously good lucking high quality shots to a few mags and haven't seen them yet...but I did see in the latest XYz mags...a few shots somewhat out of focus, very grainy and to be honest, not at all that impressive. Good thing its a 'pro' photog with a more recognized skier. Love the democratic process

I've seen a hell of a lot of better pics on this site...reenforces my decision not to waste my money buying mags. I'll just look here.

^ I hear ya there for sure and am pretty sure PowHo feels the same.

Have seen some of you guy's stuff as well and it is definitely way better than alot of others getting print time.

Everytime I think about that issue, I always end up at the question to myself, has my skiing the last couple of years been about trying to help bring it to others (ie. through pics, tr's, etc.) or is it for myself. Ultimately I always end up at it being for myself and friends. Then I feel alot better. Just my $0.02.

Unfortunately, a shitty picture of Jamie Pierre taken by some 'pro' sells alot better than a kick ass, well composed, well lit picture of someone by the name of Stoy, Meats, Phunk, DTM, etc.

Sad thing is, if you're trying to make money as a photog, you get trapped in the evil circle.

It's all about the name, not the art.

Korpi's shots were actually of Powstash; just wanting to see the ol' Mich-i-gander get some PTP
