Telluride Beta

I am headed to Telluride for a few days starting 1/22 and was wondering what conditions are like. I know they haven't gotten a lot of snow, is it still Soft? Any tips on where to ski to find some good stuff. Good beer? Any and all info would be much appreciated.

If any maggots want to grab some runs I would be more than game.

I haven't been to Telluride for a while so I am not sure on current conditions, but the best places to ski (IMHO) are usually off of chairs 6 and 9 and of course Gold Hill. I've never taken the new chairs up there, just hiked it. Look for some good tree skiing all over the place. Seems like everytime I've been there, I find some good stash just by ducking into the trees.

The town rocks as far as I am concerned. I usually belly up to the bar at the New Sheridan, Last Dollar and of course the Fly Me To The Moon Saloon. Mexican food at Sophios is always good. Breakfast at Baked in Telluride.
