i got a chance to ski some Sumos in 3 feet of blower pow at Alpine Meadows yesterday. while i didn't bust a nut, i certainly had fun and pushed those puppies pretty hard. for short skis, they were fast and stable in the pow yet easy to flik around in the Palisades, Sherwood Cliffs and trees. they also held up suprisingly well on on a chute that had slid and was basically shear ice.

overall i was very impressed and looking forward to more pow days on them. do i miss my Spatulas that I sold? nah, not really.... i can actually ski these the "right" way on the groomers back to the lift!
