Ya Sven, it vas dumping today! 1-15-06

Some great storm skiing today in BCC. Start out with mild weather and no snow, then the faucet turned on and it started dumping. Ended up getting somewhere between ? and ?" of new throughout the tour. Hard to tell the exact depth, but it was deep and soft.

    Mother Nature's art.

Can we paint on your canvas?

Guy testing out his first pair of fat skis and stiff tele bindings. They seem to work for him.

Every lap up high added 2-3" to the skin track.

Guy was really into testing the Verdicts, in the air.

    Coming or going? Going.

The exit was 2700ft of this. It really sucked.

APD I see you're now testing Dynafits. Let me know when you get Comforts and want to retire those TLTS ok? I'd be happy to take them off your hands

APD doesn't meet the age requirement for Dyanfits (>30), so I am going to have the North American Ski Mountaineering federation revoke them, and possible put him on house arrest for the rest of the winter.

sorry for gearwhoring this thread but I have three skis with Fritschis. I switched from tele about 2 years ago. Like you I do lots of long slogs - sometimes rewarding; sometimes unrewarding. Now you have me thinking I should demo some dynafit setups.

Attention all Maggots: LL will soon be liquidating 3 perfectly good pairs of Fritschi's. Anyone want dibs?

I've got 3 days on my dynafit binders/BD havocs/Scarpa Matrix and I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever ski those Karhu Jaks with the Fritschi's. I miss the skis, but don't miss the bindings.
