FS: Pristine AK Swallow 205 Team Issue

Am selling a set of the AK 205 Team Edition ski complete with a set of S16 binders. As can be seen from the photos below these are in almost perfect condition.

Dimensions on this ski are the same as the retail 195 model - something like 130-95-118 but don't quote me on that. There are very few of these floating about as they were only made for the Salomon International team. I skied last year with the guy that makes these, and they're all handmade to the highest specs - no usual durability issues here. They've been mounted once for a 315mm boot.

Am very tempted to keep them for myself, however i'd need to remount the binding for my small boot and plus i think i'd kill myself with these things here in Jackson. Essentially it's a personal safety issue

Price wise i'm not too sure as it's obviously a rare ski. I'll test the waters with a price of $800 for skis and binders.

Why couldn't you price them the same as your Surreals?

It's pretty difficult to price a ski like that in all honesty. I'm more than aware about how pricing works on this forum and you can rest assured that i've got absolutely no intension of ripping anyone off. If people don't think that's a fair price then they can PM me with offers and i'll keep an open mind (within reason of course )

    Thanks for the feedback though!

You might want to throw those up on ebay if you are looking for that price. There's not many people on this board willling to throw around that change for something like this ski. And, no, those boards aren't really all that sacred/rare. I want you to get the price you are looking for, so go for ebay, not here. Not trying to flame in any way, just trying to help.

The team 205 is 100 underfoot .... that is alot of ski.
Did you decide to ride the spats this season mikey? I think a good decision, that 205 scares me!

Supposedly there are like 20 pairs of those in the world. 205cm, 113 underfoot or something, full wood core. Retahded.
    Drive slow, homie.

Are those planks stiff? I bet they are fast. How well do they hold an edge?

OK guys, thanks for the feedback on the price. I genuinely don't mean to rip anyone off so i appreciate your comments. I simply don't want to make a loss on these things. I'm selling as i'm lucky enough to have a set of Tablas as my powder ski, so to have these as well is somewhat of an extravagance.

Sorry though i won't sell the binders solo. If i don't sell these then i'll mount them up and attempt to grow some balls ;-)

That's a valid point. Wasn't too sure myself but apparently the make up of these skis has changed several times. The core was stiffened up when Phil Meyer (then Salomon now Scott pro) bust a pair having dropped a 100 footer in Verbier. Presumably there's some way of layering the core profile (by hand) and then pressing the cap on top of it. Think about it, if they're making only 50 or so pairs of one ski, it's unlikely it's going to come off a production line. Simple economics would dictate that that wasn't viable.
