    Aspen Area Mags...

I got married yesterday (yes, Friday the 13th) and my wife and I will be honeymooning in Aspen/Snowmass 1/15 - 1/22. She's more into the spa thing and I'll be skiing alone probably every morning. If anyone's up for making some turns and showing me around (I haven't skied Aspen in years) I'd be stoked.

Also, if anyone's got info as to where I could score some discounted lift tickets, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

What time do you hit the slopes?
What room are you guys staying in?

If this is your first time in Aspen, you are going to think it a very odd place this week.

I knew about the gay ski week thing...meant to put a disclaimer in my original post as I expected at least a few comments about it, but I'm stoked regardless...it's dumping up here!!!

    Jim...you aren't here are you??

Congrats, mang! And there's powder coming to Aspen, so you must be living right. Anyway, seems like the two of you are going to have a very sweet honeymoon.

Nah, no need to go to Aspen that week when I can get a nice pice of man-pussy in Tahoe anytime.

Bummer: Seriously, no, in fact I don't think I'll hit Aspen this year. I'm supposed to hit CO like A'basin end of January and Vail for 5 days in early March.

Yes, I did - thanks for asking. I took some kids for their first powder runs in the woods today. It always blows their minds to see their skis disappear.

But - I gotta get me some really soon. Like tomorrow.

I was at Snowmass today...GREAT! Hit the Burn early, but headed quickly over to High Alpine for some steeper terrain. Hit the lower chutes as they opened and then lapped the Headwall a few times and got plenty of deep turns.

Although the laps on the Headwall take a while, it was well worth it.

Headed to Highlands tomorrow to check it out.
