I'm going to wax my car and do roof repairs.

Gosh, I sure hope it doesn't snow!

    Talking

I don't know what you guys are talking about, looks like a decent storm rolling in. Have a great weekend.

...STORM SYSTEM TO AFFECT REGION LATE FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY..

A COLD FRONT ASSOCIATED WITH AN EASTERN PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH THE SIERRA EARLY SATURDAY MORNING BEFORE MOVING INTO NEVADA SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SNOW WILL BEGIN IN THE SIERRA AFTER MIDNIGHT FRIDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY. A FOOT TO A FOOT AND A HALF OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE IN THE SIERRA FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING. TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BECOME DIFFICULT OVER THE SIERRA PASSES EARLY SATURDAY MORNING AS SNOW COMBINES WITH STRONG GUSTY WINDS TO REDUCE VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW. MOTORISTS SHOULD CONSIDER TRAVELING OVER THE SIERRA PASSES FRIDAY RATHER THAN SATURDAY IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

FOR VALLEY LOCATIONS...SNOW LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO FALL TO NEAR THE VALLEY FLOORS OVER EASTERN CALIFORNIA AND FAR WESTERN NEVADA LATE IN THE MORNING OR EARLY IN THE AFTERNOON SATURDAY. SEVERAL INCHES OF WET SNOWFALL COULD ACCUMULATE LATE SATURDAY MORNING AND THROUGH THE AFTERNOON BEFORE TAPERING OFF DURING THE EVENING.

Nope...looks like you're gonna get hammered with this one. It will probably dump all of it's moisture there and won't have anything left for the Wasatch when it gets here...damn.

With all the snow you're going to get...have a great weekend.

Yep there's no way I'm going to change my plans to sit out this weekend and mountain bike due to the shitty snow conditions. I'm absoulty not going to get up Friday morning at 4:00AM and drive up, Nope not going to happen.

I read that as "I'm washing my car and the gf tomorrow afternoon." (No apostrophe "s.") I chuckled.

    GREAT THREAD!

I'm going hiking this weekend in shorts and maybe get some rays on the rocks at Sands Harbor, stare at my g/f's oiled body in the sun too. I'm praying for a super late Indian summer. I'm packing up my skis and boots...no need for them.

I think I'm heading to Squaw on Saturday, but I should be at AM on Sunday. Maybe I'll bring my park skis.

Good thing there's no new snow on the way since I might be going to Houston on Saturday.
