Not only are you a photo JONG but a search JONG also.
There is a book that has been recommended several times by a few of the pros in several threads. Look hard enough and you will find it on here.

also depending on what type of photograph you wanna do there are specialized books such as macro or landscape photography.
I reccomend John Shaws for stuff like that.
