    Eating The Rail

Really now, why have we done and forgotten our brothers in the skate boarding world. I read an article in powder magazine about snowboarding giving rise to the train park which gave rise to the Jibbers, which gave a resurgence to skiing, and there for saved skiing. The only problem is no mention of skate boarding starting it all is made. Street skaters were the o.g., grinding the rails, jumping street gaps, tossing mad tricks, it all started with skate boarding. Hell, with out skate boarding there would be no snowboarding, and no jibbers for that matter. I am not saying I know a lot about skate boarding, I like to do it and I think skaters are awesome athletes. I think they should get the credint they deserve. We should all take a moment to remember the hard core, cement bros on trucks and wheels who gave props to us on the slopes. Word.

Are you talking about the Pain Train? I wouldn't talk about the pain train if I were you.

    Talking

How did everything come from skateboarding when skiing was around for centuries before??

I think all the "cement bros on trucks and wheels" don't deserve much except maybe a right-cross to the throat. I think they should get the credint they deserve.

I think hes talking about the snowboard park and pipe tricks, a lot of the basics were done on the skateboard first in some fasion.

I wonder if jibbin on the skis would be where it is today with out the snowboarders, would skiers hAVE taken it upon themselves to start hitting rails and stuff on there own?
I stay up all night, I go to sleep watching dragnet

I think there would be jibbing even without snowboarding, it just wouldn't be so large and so advance... For example: Skiers started to do helicopters back in the 60's-70's... Some day they had to get bored on that and try something else, like a 720... And the snowball begins to roll...

when we were little kids in michigan, before snowboards, the hot shit was to ski switch taking a piss...the faster you could ski switch the longer the center line was.

    we rocked.
