Yup. Bailey is awesome, all the terrain Flatchelor doesn't have and even more snow.

Plus, there's Oz. Kick him for me and tell him it's from downtown.

I've been there a couple of times with the Catskimtbailey as well as skinned and snowmobile towed. The terrain and guides are great and they can get you some steep lines even in the sketchiest of avy conditions with bombs, ski cuts and line selection. I grew up skiing in Idaho skiing places like JH and Alta and Bailey gives out the terrain I so long for here at the mostly tame Oregon areas. Good elevation keeps them in the snow zone too. Watch the weather and zip down for a pow day.

My old man has always wanted to go cat skiing and thinks this is the season. Considering the PNW right now, I have to agree with him. How far is the op from the nearest airport? Do they have pickup shuttles or do you rent a car?
    thanks

Closest Airports are Redmond (about 2 hours) and Klamath Falls (maybe 75-90 minutes). last I heard you are on your own to get there .... but if you hit the storm track right it is well worth it. Since Oz took over the operation most of the former guides are back. They know the area very well and will assure you a great trip.

Eugene has also direct flights on Delta from SLC and we're about 2.5 hours from Bailey. Redmond might be the way to go though as you could work in some days at Bachelor. You'd have to rent a car in any case.

The nearest commercial airport is Medford (86 miles)....although the other suggestions of Redmond (110 miles) and Eugene (150 miles) aren't too bad. We generally don't pick people up at the airport, but its not out of the question. We're a pretty small operation and can probably work something out with you if you really don't want to rent a car and plan on staying for a few days.

The mountain is going off right now......a bunch of big wet slides around christmas buried a lot of our runout zone trees and strong winds on the upper mountain have things really filled in for early January.....

If you have questions, PM me and I'll be glad to give you a call......
