Aw shit, man. I guess a spring meet up at MRM won't happen this year.

CRAP! Sorry to hear that, AfroMullet. I did the same thing. I was in denial.

After I tore mine off, I skied the rest of that run trying to make my knee work again. Then I took one more run just to convince myself it wasn't true. When support continuously gave out on left turns I finally had to admit to myself that I had no more right ACL--there was just nothing there to support my body weight. It was a weird sensation.

God Speed with your surgery and rehab.

I got some sweet staples in my leg. Pics will be taken on Fri...next appointment. The incision is actually really small.

    Patellar graft?
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow, what a Ride!"

Yep, patellar graft. Staples came out on Fri and on Tues I will be 2 weeks post op. Things are looking a lot better than even a few days ago. ~120 degrees / 0 degrees. Still some pain and a lot of swelling and bruising.

Damn. Heal up fast, man, I'm sure you'll be back out killing it at the bike park this summer.
