    Fixing the sidewall (im.103 related...)

Well, as theese puppies are well known off, the edges tend to separete quite easily from the core.
Since this is allready the 3rd time i am glueing the edges/sidewalls back together (and are planning to ski another season or two with them) i think i have to come up with some sturdier methods.

What about drilling 1 or 2 extra screws through the edges and core?

I mean, with a bigger drill through the p-tex to make room for the end of the screw, then a smaller hole throug the base of the edge and core.

    Anyone done this?

How wide is the base of the edge usually on theese sticks? (the part under the p-tex)
I mean not to cut through the whole base of the edge.

    3-4mm?

The floggings will continue until morale improves.

Either TTips or Tongar or both have some good guides on how to do the repair you describe. The most important thing is the glue. Try and get hold of Marine Epoxy - yes its now available in syringe type tubes at Hope Depot. And top beef things up some small #1 or #2 screws. For realy beefy repairs I used to predrill for the screws and put longer screws which stuck out the top sheet. Once the glue had dried I'd file the screws flush. Ugly I know but bomproof. You will need some metalgrip ptex to cover the screw heads, the candle drip stuff won't work.
