    Is anyone meeting on Saturday?

I'm coming there with Roo (he'll be driving! ) and the plan is to arrive only Saturday evening, but I'm still trying to twist his arm so we leave Fri evening, drive at night and meet for pre-straightline warm-up turns on Saturday...

    help please.

Thanks Roo, but they seem to want $20 to unlock my Motorola V3 with their "special software via cable". Might actually take them up on the offer though next time I do some travelling...

Hey train07 and others in your situation, also a lot of cellular providers allow international roaming, although you might have to call them up to enable the option. I traveled in the US for a week roaming on Orange France and calls were around $0.50/minute. You just need a tri/quad-band phone for that.

Is anyone from the UK coming to Cham from anywhere near the Daventry area? I've got a Xmas present and some books I need stuck at a relatives place there.
    [/hijack]
Cham today: knee deep pow in easterly aspects , warm temps (above freezing most of the day) natural avis have run on many windloaded aspects and still instabilities on windloaded slopes.

I think we're all either London or Bristol based. Can you get them to post the stuff to one of us? (Roo or Horizon best as I'm leaving this Saturday). They could then bring it over in the van.

Wildstyle - you seem to be the Leader on this one... maybe we should set up some dates, times, and places? Seems quite a few people will be / are here in town...

I've got climbing Sat/Thurs/Mon 7-10 PM, other than that nothing in particular in the evenings free anytime. May do a multi-day tour sometime in the next couple of days but drop some times and let's go from there.

How about Thus 1/26, 6 PM at Chambre Neuf? Wear your pink TGR headbands so we all know who's who.

You might try "Le Bureau" too - along the little river kind of in the same building as Cybar in the back. My pick versus Cybar, mainly due to my aversion to British pub culture and cigarette smoke.

Use alpine, but I am always ready w/ trekkers and skins.

Since I have never skied GM, I am happy to ride lifts all day and ski every piste.

Juat got an opportunity to log some time online. So Muchos Gracias to LITT for picking me up an giving a lift to Cham, and more gracias to Wildstyle for getting this done, and last but not the least to Redskea and Idris for letting me crash at their place...

And let's not forget the others we met for beers and food in the evening.

I had fun, even though the weather nor the snow wasn't that great.
