    mantra b4 or mojo 90

last year I demoed b3 and the mojo 90. I owned triple x in a 178. I loved the b3 and my triple xs so I went with the mojo 90 in a 166. In light pow 8-12% water wow. in heavier wet snow the skis would not float the tips up. Here in Utah I havent had to deal with heavy wet snow till this year. Any experience with B4 s or the mantra. I am 56 150lbs. I went shorter with the mojos as they were quicker with no float problems in the lighter snow.

You are totally fucked dude, none of those are utah pow skis. Race stock slalom skis, with their fat tip, keep the ski afloat, and the radical sidecut help surface the ski, like a backwards boat hull.

I ski but sometimes my legs hurt from skiing all day. I like to take breaks for lunch and snacks sometimes. Riding the chairlift is fun.

That's because of that ecumenical patina which glosses the underside of your skis.

Welcome to TGR. Consider yourself Christened. There's a lot of trash talking here, but a wealth of information from a broad spectrum(more than you'll realize for a long time) of individuals.

There is a tech talk forum for questions like yours(lower right of page).

The B4's should float the tips just fine in heavier snow. They are a pretty soft flex. They are really easy to ski and fairly versatile. A 168 cm. or 178 cm. are your options. The Mantra has a similar soft and even flex(I flexed a pair this weekend, I think they were around 180 cm.) and would probably be good too.

Repost your question in the tech talk forum in more of a clear and concise manner and you will get the answers you're looking for.
