I think you missed the point LB was making.
Try the search function and you will see not only that this deal has been posted several times before but that Goode is hated around these parts.

Will these skis be delivered this year or at some point in the undetermined future?

    From the page:

"All of these close-out skis are built with the new construction. Some have cosmetic blemishes, but all will ski great and give many years of excellent
    performance."

Thanks goddness, I would hate to buy some Goode's that aren't as durable as 1st run quality ones....

Stephan left for China today to begin production on the Lotus with his new partner/engineer Pete, who designed the spatula.

They'll be back with a few hundred pair in a month. Hold onto your dick. It's about to get hard.

Oh, they've been sitting on the shelves for the past 12 months. Well, except for the "closeouts" that were made yesterday.

I'm sorry, i'm just not buying into this whole 'cry a river for DB'. Did it ever cross any of your minds that they just suck at running a business?

And now they're going to china to make skis? I'd rather have skis made by a shady business man in Ogden.

Yes, DB is a good business school example of the power viral marketing, and the extreme difficulties of running a virtual company. Oh - and of not dotting your i's and crossing your t's legally in a partnership. I prefer to support epicanthic folds as opposed to assholes.

    Psuedo DB Closeouts Buyer Beware

I have been very interested in the DB project since it's inception, and came across this thread. My thoughts here are mostly in line with what others have posted. That is ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY THESE SKIS, THIS IS A CONSUMER ALERT. If you are going to spend you hard earned $$$ wait for the new DP skis to come out here hopefully in a few short weeks. As has been mentioned before the DB closeouts are complete rip offs and high priced junk. GOODE is nothing more than a distributor of high priced garbage, simply ask anyone who has bought from them before and the horrendous experience they had dealing with the company, their dishonest business practices, and less than helpful staff. Support DP, they are great guys with original ideas trying their best to make bomber goods for our community.

Actually ... I have a pair of Goode Carbon 82 and Jan06 Surreals bought from DB. Both skis are awesome and experiences w/ both companies were excellent. In spite of production delays and earlier breakage issues.

The reality is that the Goode and DB skis are more similar than different and made from the same core technology.

What happened to your 04-05 surreals?
