testing water anyone intrested in possible trade of rossi for atomic bindings

I may be interested in trading some axial 140 t-plate bindings for some atomic din 14 bindins with wide brakes for big daddies or sugars after pullling of the plate it does not look like these binding would work that well due to narow heal pattern. I am considering a mount anything plate the only problem is they would need to be monted forward of the center line if interested or no some one who is pm if you were in salt lake that would be best.

    Thanks
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

this is what you need to do my friend, it's not really that hard:

go to walmart and buy a nice plastic cutting board. use your mad shop skillz to cut to correct size and use the hostage plate for your template to drill the holes. do something like corn dog did in that other thread, one riser for rear of binder and one for the front as to not mess with the flex of the ski. it seems like you are losing sleep over this deal.....

I have some atomic 6-14 bindings with the wide brake that are brand new that I would trade you. I got them planning on getting some big daddies but that looks like its not gonna happen now. Are the bindings you have the same ones that were on s&c like 2 months ago?

This is new, at least to me. What is it about the "Andy" plate that casues them to mounted forward? Boot sole length perhaps? I'm concidering the same set up, but wonder if a 335 sole length will cause a problem.

I have a sole length of 305 so when I measured this next to a pair of my other skis it would not work due to the screw placement of the hostage plate.

i have a pair of used sugar daddy's and the atomic "mount what you want" plate that i picked up from mtnlion over the summer. i have not had them mounted up yet, but have been looking at all my options for quite a while now because i haven't been able to ski yet.

it doesn't matter what kind of plate you have, it comes down to what binding you are putting on there and your boot sole. just because it's a "mount anything" plate does not guarantee that you can drill your binders to the center of the ski. (if you are using the holes already in the ski) for instance: i have a 320mm boot sole and a pair of S912ti to put on there. when i set everything up on the ski and line my boot sole up to the center mark of the ski, the front set of toe piece screws are right on top of the screw holes for the plate. when i move the whole thing forward, then some of the holes conflict on the heel piece. i'm going to end up having to go at least 1.5cm back of the center line to make it work. no big deal to me.

hope this helps. i still think that you could make something that will work well very easily. can anyone comfirm my thoughts that you could get a good mount on top of some heavy duty plastic?? ...mtnlion?
