    Snowbird up hill traffic question

Odd request, but does anyone know who to contact, or Snowbird's policy on uphill traffic?

I need to utilize their resources for the most effective time/vertical gain in a 10 hour window.

If it were me (and I know it isn't), and I was thinking of the "...need to utilize their resources for the most effective time/vertical gain in a 10 hour window.", two words would leap to mind.

    Tram Ticket.

Yes tram ticket, but also try calling snow bird and ask the operator for mountain ops. If they dont like the idea try Dean Cardinale (snow safety)or Bob Bonar.(vice pres) Bonar walks uphill all the time- almost every day I hear. And the snowshoers are always tricking my eyes as they go uphill and I am coming down.

FWIW, if memory serves, Alta is on public land (national forest) while Snowbird is on private land.

On public land you can do what you want as long as you don't buy a ticket and aren't disrupting the mountain's operations (ie snowshowing/skinning uphill is fine).

    APD,

I got my question answered directly from Mountain Ops folks. It's ok to do as I please.

    Thanks.
