    Need advice on what skis to buy, 4 options

    I am looking for a good, all-around East Coast ski.
    I'm 5'8 or 9, but 135 lbs. intermediate skier, but totally out of the tech game.
    slowly getting the gist of things, but not aware of each companies individual problems.
    so that's why I'm here

    MY Options:
    Salomon Scream Limited,
    $209, 160 or 170cm

    04 dynastar intuitiv 71
    $200 bind incl. -> 157CM
    http://www.cupolosports.com/dyin71sk1.html

    Nordica speedmachine 10xbs
    $300 bind incl. --> 161 or 168cm
    http://www.cupolosports.com/20spma10skip.html

    Dynastar Legend 4800 at $300, bind. incl. 158cm

    Head Cyber ic 180 at 163 CM and $380.

    I just want to ensure that I don't get an overly short ski and some good insight.

    Cupolo sports? Do a search before you buy from them.

    Are you really 135lbs? Are you female?
    Look for something around 170-175cm
    I'm just a simple girl trying to make my way in the universe...
    I come up hard, baby but now I'm cool I didn't make it, sugar playin' by the rules
    If you know your history, then you would know where you coming from, then you wouldn't have to ask me, who the heck do I think I am.

    Jeebus! Firstly you need to eat more. Then you need to buy yourself some Stockli Stormrider XL's @174. - Great EC Ski.

    Sorry I don't know those skis you mentioned but they seem very very short. 157!

    Edit. Tracy has a point. are you female?

    No not female! Not that there's anything wrong with that!
    Had a couple fo surgeries (back!) so lost a lot of upper body weight.
    slowly coming back. I may be 140, I dunno.

    So any suggestions? is 160 to short? waste of $$ adn should grab 170's?
    also found atomic SX 7's for 330 CAD.

    The 4800 is the same ski as the Intuitiv 74, which can be found really cheap. Fantastic ski with great performance that is fairly easy to ski. Get the 174cm if you think you'll put some of the muscle back on. I've put 2 friends on these, and they both love 'em. Much better ski than the others listed (though I don't know the speedmachines...).

    Well I am looking at closeout deals so sizes are limited.

    So 158 is too short? I was going off relative "ski size charts".

    However what about the scream limiteds? or overhyped? that I can grab 160 or 70
