Important Lesson Learned Today: Dont Huck With Pole Straps

Little vid clip of me being dumb, heard a loud ass popping noise when I landed, felt like my arm ripped off. Should have just used a higher drop and I would have stomped. Oh well, just another powder day.

That place is beautiful. Have I been there before?

As for the pole straps - cut 'em off. They're worthless and will only do you harm - tear your rotator cuff, break your thumb or wrist, get you buried in an avalanche, etc..

Good work, though. Way to hold it down and make me jones to get out again.

yes, went back today...was even deeper than last time it seemed like with only one inch of fresh reported...

The pole went into the snow and then jerked my arm back and my shoulder made all kinds of grinding noises and stuff....feels fine now though

ask lonestar about his tree branch steez

pole straps are not bad when hucking.

letting go of the pole and not loosing it is a good thing.
