I can't seem to find anyone that will take a package bigger than 1.5 metres. Does anyone have a good recommendation?

Move along nothing to see here.
no good news:
I have yet to find a way to ship surface to the EU.
CAD post is 1.5 m max, and UPS etc are all "air only" and that is $200 or more.
Try DHL, or shipping skis to the US then forward to the EU with DHL or others
Ask pat how he ships the PM gear skis overseas ...
If you find a way let me know, EU maggots want fat skis too.....
I've shipped skis with canada post airmail to the u.s. before... on the site there is a little asterix beside expresspost international that says 1.5 meters may not apply depending on what country you are sending the parcel to. But I can't seem to find a country list. Maybe give canada post a call and ask (?)
[resume lurking]
Find somone on the board who is going to the EU and get them posted in Europe...there is lots of maggots who travel accross the pond.
Otherwhise USPS is the cheapest
Knowledge is Powder
I phoned DHL and it runs $202.15. Canada Post won't do over 1.5m to the UK, she suggested that I cut the items down, so that won't do. I guess I will look into shipping to the US and then to the UK or see who's headed to the EU.

Even from the US , it cost me $175 to ship with UPS to the me in the UK.
Don't post anything surface.I bought some bindings in october from a guy in Vail and got him to post them USPS surface mail to the UK.
They arrived 3 days ago.
I think you could have rowed across the atlantic quicker ... seriously.
I didn't mind paying the $175 for the shipping via air. At least you get to track them and they arrive in a week instead of 10 weeks.
Semper in Pulveris .... Only the depth varies
