Unfortunatly, I'll be spending new years at home, waiting by the phone for possible employers to call me since I got the pass with blackout dates, and I can't afford the ticket.
I'm going to resume kicking my own ass right now.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.
DJ Ill take care of it dont worry. It will be gotten. Today I doubt that the top is gonna get open if the winds down in woodfords are any indication. I made it the whole way out there from Reno and when I saw the hurriwinds I decided to call the wood one more time. It didnt sound too promising as far as getting the top open today so i turned around. Tommorow should be mucho fun though, hope the winds die down a bit.

Yo...I'll be there tomorrow if the pass is open if not I'll be at S-Bowl.Anyone else?
Suck It!
Torents been coming down in the Bay Area midday. Satellite radar shows quite a bit more of the huge heavy precip band still to come. Caples remote satellite site shows 7/10 inch in rain tip bucket by 11am and that is before the heavy stuff has gotten that far east. Caples temps are nice low 20s which will mean cold and dry fresh. The front ought to fully pass KW sometime tonight leaving maybe three plus feet. Thinking Caltrans will have time to clear Carson Spur so I will be getting gear packed and ready for another long 5am drive. Most of the holiday peeps have probably burned out and left by now and others have gone back to work. So Tuesday ought to have less competition getting goods than last Friday. -dave
Just for an update for you guys - as of 1pm, we have almost a foot down and it's not supposed to stop until tonight. This better happen next week when the blackout dates disappear![]()
Thats a bold statement. I dont recall very much competition at all last Friday. I must reiterate that tommorow is gonna be siiiiiiick.Originally posted by SSSdave

5am now. Caples shows 2 inches in bucket now so KW will have over 2 feet. Temps were always at or below 25 degrees so ought to indeed be reasonable fluff. Gauge shows stopped about midnight and Caltrans thus 6am projected opening of Carson Spur. Am on my way out now for one dayer. -dave
