    Copying DVD's

What software do you need to copy DVD's? Nero isn't much good. It gets fussy about media type even when there is plenty of space and won't copy most pre recorded stuff anyway.

I am not trying to rip off films. I have a DVD player in my work van for keeping clients entertained on airport transfers. DVD's get scrached easy so I'd rather tote copies than origionals.

    I'm using a PC not a MAC

    Elaborate Bytes' CloneDVD2

Easiest thing in the world to use. You are gonna run into problems with copywrite protection, so you can either use DVD43 or DVD Decrypter to get around that stuff. Good luck.

Commercial DVDs are 2-layer and your typical writable DVD is single layer so you need something like downhill or bryan suggested to put it on one layer.
If you have a problem & think that someone else is going to solve it for you then you have two problems.

DVDxCopy has always worked well for me. One click operation makes it pretty much idiot-proof as well.
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.

DVD Shrink is the best and easiest. You can get it here

You can create an .iso image and burn that, very easy.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
